You can always go for a walk in the park, but a calm walk through our place is like walking through a botanical garden. A stroll around our five acre natural pond integrates plants with nature. Watch the wildlife in and around the pond in this calm setting. On the pond we also offer paddle boating. As you are paddling around you may see a few of our patrons fishing, trying to catch one of the thousands of fish which live there. After you get out of the paddle boat our huge cedar maze is on your left where you can let your kids go wild. Next, wander through our cutting garden, and treat yourself to some flowers: you can cut them yourself. You can not buy them any fresher, anywhere.

If your kids still have energy, let them loose in our special play ground area. As they play you can shop. Afterwards treat them to a cold drink and something from our food cart, and they are sure to fall asleep on your trip home.

Some people have said that the golf cart ride out to the nursery to select a tree was the most unforgettable part of the visit for them. Others have said that the hay ride to go out and cut their Christmas tree was the main attraction here at Van Dongens. Another memorable attraction we offer is during the two weekends before Halloween when we host a free pumpkin hunt for each family that shops at Van Dongens.
