A hardy, evergreen perennial known for its striking rosettes of stiff, sword-shaped green leaves edged with fine white filaments. In mid to late summer, it produces tall spikes of creamy white, bell-shaped flowers that attract pollinators and add vertical interest to the landscape. Its architectural form makes it ideal for rock gardens, borders, or xeriscape and low-maintenance plantings.
Valued for drought tolerance, low-maintenance growth, and dramatic form, it grows best in full sun and well-drained soil. Once established, it is highly tolerant of heat, drought, and poor soils. Minimal maintenance is required; dead flower stalks can be removed after blooming to tidy appearance.
