A deciduous shrub with medium green foliage that provides seasonal interest. In early to mid-summer, it produces large, rounded clusters of pure white flowers that gradually age to soft green, attracting pollinators and adding long-lasting colour to the garden. The large bloom heads can become heavy, so providing support such as stakes or a plant ring is recommended to keep them upright. Its dense, rounded growth habit makes it ideal for borders, foundation plantings, or mixed shrub beds.
This hydrangea blooms on new wood, so pruning in late winter or early spring will not affect flowering. It grows best in full sun to partial shade and prefers moist, well-drained soil. It is hardy, low maintenance, and adaptable to a variety of garden settings.
