A multi-stem ornamental tree valued for its seasonal interest. It produces white, star-shaped flowers in spring followed by small edible purple-black berries in summer that attract birds. The foliage is medium green through summer and turns a brilliant red-orange in fall.
This clump-form form creates a natural, graceful structure and works well as a specimen plant, in mixed borders, or naturalized plantings. It prefers full sun to partial shade and moist, well-drained soil.
