A low-growing, spreading evergreen shrub with small, glossy green leaves that provide year-round interest. In late spring, it produces clusters of small white flowers that attract pollinators. In late summer to fall, it develops bright red berries that persist into winter, providing food for birds and adding seasonal colour. Its dense, mounding growth habit makes it excellent for groundcover, slopes, or rock gardens.

This shrub grows best in full sun to partial shade and prefers well-drained soil. It is hardy, low maintenance, and tolerant of a range of garden conditions.
