A deciduous shrub known for its large, highly fragrant, double deep purple to magenta flower clusters that appear in late spring. The rich, dark blooms are excellent for cut flowers and attract pollinators. Medium green foliage remains attractive through the growing season.

This upright, vigorous shrub is well suited for hedges, borders, or traditional landscape plantings. It performs best in full sun with well-drained soil and is very cold hardy, making it well suited to Ontario climates.
