A deciduous vine with medium green, heart-shaped foliage that provides seasonal interest. In late spring to early summer, it produces flat, white lacecap-style flower clusters with showy outer florets surrounding smaller central fertile florets, creating a striking display that attracts pollinators. This hydrangea blooms on old wood, so pruning should be done sparingly after flowering to maintain shape without removing next season’s flower buds.
