A deciduous ornamental tree known for its narrow, upright columnar habit and distinctive tulip-shaped leaves. In late spring to early summer, it produces tulip-like yellow-green flowers with orange centers. Its naturally slender form makes it ideal for streetscapes, formal gardens, or as a vertical accent in landscapes where space is limited.
Valued for architectural form, spring flowers, and low-maintenance growth, it grows best in full sun and prefers moist, well-drained soils. Minimal pruning is needed, mainly to remove dead or crossing branches.
