A small multi-stem ornamental tree known for its early spring display of bright pink to purplish-pink flowers that bloom directly on the branches before the leaves emerge. Heart-shaped green foliage follows the bloom period and turns yellow in fall.
This clump-form version has a natural, graceful multi-stem structure that works well as a specimen plant in landscape beds or naturalized settings. It prefers full sun to partial shade and well-drained soil.
