A deciduous conifer known for its soft, bright green needles that turn golden-yellow in fall before dropping for winter. It has an open, pyramidal growth habit when young, becoming more broad and irregular with age.
This larch grows best in full sun and prefers well-drained soils. It is cold hardy and often used as a specimen tree or in larger landscape plantings where seasonal colour is desired.
