A deciduous ornamental tree valued for its elegant, upright-rounded form and seasonal interest. In spring, it produces clusters of creamy white flowers that attract pollinators, followed in late summer to fall by bright orange-red berries that persist into winter, providing food for birds. Its pinnate green foliage turns shades of yellow, orange, or red in autumn, adding vibrant seasonal colour.
Valued for multi-season interest and wildlife attraction, it grows best in full sun and prefers well-drained soil. Once established, it tolerates urban conditions, including wind and pollution. Minimal pruning is needed to maintain shape or remove dead wood.
