A deciduous shrub known for its large, double, fragrant blue-lavender flower clusters that appear in late spring. The blooms are densely packed and highly fragrant, making them excellent for cut flowers and attracting pollinators. The foliage is medium green through the growing season.
This lilac has an upright, vigorous growth habit and is well suited for hedges, borders, or traditional landscape plantings. It performs best in full sun with well-drained soil and is very cold hardy, making it well suited to Ontario climates.
