An evergreen ornamental conifer known for its dense, pyramidal form and striking seasonal foliage colour. In spring, the new growth emerges bright golden-yellow, creating a dramatic contrast against the mature dark green needles. As the season progresses, the new growth gradually matures to green, giving the tree a layered, two-toned appearance that adds visual interest throughout the growing season.
Valued for its unique spring colour, strong architectural form, and year-round evergreen interest, it grows best in full sun to partial shade and prefers moist, well-drained soil. Its distinctive colouring and elegant shape make it an excellent specimen tree for landscapes, gardens, and larger planting areas.
