A large deciduous tree known for its graceful, sweeping branches that create a dramatic weeping form. Its narrow green leaves provide light, airy texture throughout the growing season, while the long golden-yellow stems add winter interest. The elegant cascading habit makes it an impressive focal point near ponds, streams, or in large open landscapes where it has ample space to grow.
Valued for its fast growth and striking form, it grows best in full sun and prefers moist, well-drained soil. It tolerates wet conditions well and is often planted near water features. Due to its very large size and aggressive root system, it is not recommended for residential areas or planting near buildings, driveways, or underground utilities. Minimal pruning is required, mainly to remove damaged or crossing branches and maintain its natural shape.
