Description:
Limelight Hydrangea has green foliage throughout the season and features bold lime green
flowers from mid-summer to late fall, which are excellent for cutting. Limelight Hydrangea is a
deciduous shrub with an upright spreading growth habit. It will grow to be about 2-3m tall at
maturity, with a spread of 2-3m.
This shrub does best in full sun to partial shade. It requires an evenly moist well-drained soil for
optimal growth. It is not particular as to soil type, but has a definite preference for acidic soils. Its
tolerance for urban pollution makes it suitable for inner city locations. It grows at a medium rate,
and under optimal conditions can live for approximately 40 years. This is one the most stunning
hydrangeas and is one of the hardier selections which makes it an excellent accent plant in ones
garden.

This is a high maintenance shrub that will require regular care and upkeep, and is best pruned in
late winter once the threat of extreme cold has passed.
