A deciduous shrub known for its rich, deep wine-purple to reddish-purple, fragrant flower clusters that appear in late spring. The blooms are highly fragrant and excellent for cut flowers and attracting pollinators. Foliage is medium green through the growing season.

This upright, vigorous lilac is well suited for hedges, borders, or traditional landscape plantings. It performs best in full sun with well-drained soil and is very cold hardy, making it well suited to Ontario climates.
