A compact, deciduous shrub known for its fragrant, pale lavender to light purple flower clusters that appear in late spring. The blooms are highly fragrant and attract pollinators, while the foliage is dark green through summer and often turns shades of burgundy-red in fall.
This dense, rounded shrub is well suited for smaller gardens, borders, or landscape foundation plantings. It performs best in full sun with well-drained soil and is very cold hardy, making it well suited to Ontario landscapes.
