A deciduous shrub trained as a small tree with medium green foliage that provides seasonal interest. In mid to late summer, it produces large, cone-shaped flower clusters that open creamy white at the base and gradually develop deep pink tips, creating a striking two-tone effect. Its upright, single-trunked form makes it an excellent specimen for patios, entranceways, or as a focal point in mixed shrub beds.
This hydrangea blooms on new wood, so pruning in late winter or early spring will not affect flowering. It grows best in full sun to light shade and prefers moist, well-drained soil. It is hardy, low maintenance, and adaptable to a variety of garden settings.
