A deciduous shade tree known for its upright, rounded habit and finely textured, pinnate foliage. In late spring to early summer, small, inconspicuous flowers appear, followed by flat, brown seed pods in late summer. Its open canopy provides dappled shade, making it ideal for streetscapes, parks, and larger landscape areas.
Valued for drought tolerance, adaptability, and low-maintenance growth, it grows best in full sun and prefers well-drained soil. Minimal pruning is needed, mainly to remove dead or crossing branches.
