A deciduous shade tree known for its upright, oval to rounded habit and finely textured, pinnate foliage. Its open canopy provides light, dappled shade, making it ideal for streetscapes, parks, and urban landscapes. Small, inconspicuous flowers appear in late spring, followed by flat, brown seed pods in summer.
Valued for drought tolerance, urban adaptability, and low-maintenance growth, it grows best in full sun and prefers well-drained soil. Minimal pruning is needed, mainly to remove dead or crossing branches.
