A deciduous shrub with medium green foliage that provides seasonal interest. In early to mid-summer, it produces large, rounded lacecap flower clusters with bright red outer florets surrounding smaller central blooms, attracting pollinators and adding bold, long-lasting colour to the garden. Its compact, mounding growth habit makes it ideal for borders, foundation plantings, or mixed shrub beds.
This hydrangea blooms on new wood, so pruning in late winter or early spring will not affect flowering.
