An upright ornamental tree known for its narrow, columnar growth habit and rich burgundy-red foliage. The leaves retain good colour through the growing season and often turn bright red in fall.
This variety is well suited for smaller landscape spaces where vertical structure is desired. It prefers partial shade to full sun (with protection from hot afternoon sun) and grows best in well-drained soil. Suitable for Ontario climates when planted in a sheltered site.
