A narrow, upright evergreen shrub with striking steel-blue needles and a dense, columnar growth habit. It is ideal for privacy screens, hedges, windbreaks, or as a vertical accent in landscapes. Female plants produce small, bluish berry-like cones that are attractive to birds.

This juniper grows best in full sun and well-drained soil. It is excellent for drought tolerance once established, tolerates wind well, and has moderate salt tolerance.
