What About Underground Utilities Like Irrigation Or Wires?

If your site has irrigation lines, utility wires, or other underground features, please let us know before delivery or installation. For tree planting, we are required to book locates through Ontario One Call, but homeowners are responsible for identifying any private irrigation or low-voltage lighting lines.

If our crews encounter irrigation or lighting lines during planting, we will notify both the homeowner and the rest of the crew. Together, we’ll check if the line is active and adjust the planting approach as needed. From there, we’ll avoid the area and proceed with extra caution, ensuring the line remains visible and safe. While we take every precaution to avoid any disclosed irrigation in the planting area, accidents can still happen. If a line is cut, we will stub up and tape the line to keep it visible and safe, and we will notify you immediately.
